The couple came from Forest Park to take an advantage of the special wedding ceremony hours offered by the Gwinnett County magistrate and probate courts for couples who wish to marry on the date 11/12/13. Gwinnett County Chief Magistrate Kristina Hammer Blum conducted 30 wedding ceremonies during the morning session from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Gwinnett County Probate Judge Christopher A. Ballar expected to marry at least 30 or more couples from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Wedding ceremonies are conducted for free but are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
