Weather forces cancellation of Symphony on the Square concert

The Symphony on the Square’s 8th Annual Holiday Concert has been cancelled because of snow.

The annual sold out performance was to be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre.

Cobb County government will close their facilities, including the Cobb County Civic Center, because of the weather.

“We are checking to see if another date is possible,” according to a release about the cancellation.  Concert goers are asked to check the website for information about a new date or refunds.
