The critically-acclaimed “The Birth of a Nation” now has a “living”, or animated, poster.

The film tells the story of Nat Turner, the leader of a slave rebellion in August 21, 1831 in Virginia. He got away and hid for six weeks but was later caught and hanged along with more than a dozen of his followers.

Nate Parker, plays Turner and also directed the film, which was shot in Savannah. The film, which opens Oct. 7, received high praise at film festivals and was aquired by Fox Searchlight Pictures for staggering $17.5 million.
