What better place than a town square for people to come together for the holidays or for a special event? This week's Best of Atlanta poll wants to know where you celebrate community, enjoy the area’s best festivals or simply shop and eat at your favorite spots.

At some of metro Atlanta's town squares, you can stand in awe of the area's best holiday light shows in Atlanta and beyond. Town squares like Marietta Square even offer up the chance for you to imagine yourself as Oksana Baiul − ice skating without a care in the world.

Side note: The popular holiday light show at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, "Garden Lights, Holidays Nights," is now open for the season.

Don't see your favorite town square? Nominate it in the comments below. If you'd like to submit a write-in nominee, please email your pick to stephanie.toone@ajc.com.
