Grammy-winning crooner Peabo Bryson is still hospitalized, but his condition is improving, according to a representative.

Bryson, 68, is expected to make a full recovery after suffering what is described as a mild heart attack at his Marietta home last week.

According to a statement, he is  listed in stable condition at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. The family continues to request privacy, but extends their deepest gratitude and appreciation to friends and fans for the outpouring  of love and support .

May concert dates have been canceled, but  no decisions have been made about future engagements, including his July concert scheduled for Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre in Mableton.

His most recent album, “Stand for Love,” arrived in August. He performed at Atlanta's City Winery in January and has several upcoming concerts on the docket.

Bryson’s music career has spanned more than four decades.

The soul balladeer is known for his romantic duets with Roberta Flack (“Tonight I Celebrate My Love”), Celine Dion (“Beauty and the Beast”) and Regina Belle (“A Whole New World”).
