Tired of at home workouts? Atlanta art center hosting virtual dance event

During Coronavirus Closures Forbes has provided a list of over 100 ways you can keep your kids occupied. Here are 10 of them.

If you’re looking for a way to get moving, but you’re tired of at-home workouts and you want to be a little social, an upcoming virtual event may do the trick.

BE! Creative Arts Center is taking its weekly Soul Line Dance Tuesday sessions online with Soul Line Dance Tuesday - LIVE!

The virtual dance session with the mobile paint and dance party service will stream at 8 p.m. Tuesdays with an upcoming session happening May 19.

"We're celebrating creativity, the creative arts, and four years in business," reads a description on the Facebook event page. "And we want to celebrate with each and every one of YOU!"

Instead of taking place in person, Soul Line Dance Tuesday will take place in participants' homes (or wherever they may be) as the event streams on Facebook Live. There's no cost for the event, which can be accessed on the BE Creative Arts Center Facebook page.

Although the session is free, viewers can donate via cash app to $becreativeartscenter or on PayPal to info@becreativeartscenter. Register for the event here.

Organizers emphasize you don’t have to have dance experience to participate.

“Dance is for everybody and every body,” the description read. “Share with family and friends. Invite everyone to join in. It's a great way to party. It's a fun way to be creative.”
