During National Pride Month, you can test your knowledge of pride history in Atlanta with a new online quiz.

While the coronavirus outbreak has upended a lot of pride celebrations across the country, some cities like Atlanta, have their big events in October.

The quiz from the city’s tourism department poses questions like “what was Atlanta’s first gay sports bar?” and “What Atlanta neighborhood is most associated with being gay friendly?”

Want to test your pride IQ? You can do so here.

Atlanta's 50th Annual Pride Festival is scheduled for Oct. 9-11 at Piedmont Park.

According to atlantapride.org, the park is where activists in 1970 handed out educational literature on the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.

In 1971, the Georgia Gay Liberation Front held its first gay pride march from Peachtree Street to Piedmont Park.

This year, Atlanta Pride is also hosting a virtual 5K event through June 28.
