YayFinder is hosting the YayFinder Teen Writing Challenge to provide teenagers a way to “share their talents and their voice while we're all social distancing.”

"We're teaming up with some amazing YA authors to provide their advice and encouragement along the way," read a description on YayFinder's website. "And partnering with fellow book lovers Brave + Kind Books, YATL and the Decatur Book Festival to support our contest winner."

Some of those “amazing” YA — or young adult genre — authors include Kimberly Jones, host of the Well Read Black Girl book club and the Decatur Book Festival’s YA Truth or Dare author panel, Christa Avampato, award-winning author of “Emerson Page” and “Where the Light Enters” and Julian Winters, a best-selling author of contemporary young adult fiction.
