Q: I like my white wine chilled, but sometimes I forget to place it in the fridge, and I hate using ice cubes. I read somewhere about an item that you place in the freezer, then put it in the bottle, and it keeps the wine perfectly cold. I can’t remember the name of it but it looked like an icicle, if that helps. — B. Fabien, Roswell

A: You’re right, it does look like an icicle — one with a cork attached to one end — thus the whimsical moniker Corkcicle. Place the Corkcicle in the freezer, then pull it out, insert it in the bottle to chill your whites. Corkcicle, which is made of a gel-filled plastic, costs $16.99 at Total Wine and More, 380 North Point Circle, Alpharetta, 770-772-0694.

Q: I am trying to find Reese popcorn salt. I used to buy it at Publix but they no longer carry it, and I cannot find it anywhere! I pop corn from kernels in a pan, the old-fashioned way. I won’t eat that horrible microwave popcorn. I have tried other brands of popcorn salt, but they don’t stick to the popcorn, and the salt falls to the bottom of the bowl. Reese is the best of all. Thanks for your help. — Pam Perticone, email

A: Pam, Reese popcorn salt, which used to come in a basic glass bottle with a black lid, has received a flashy makeover, and a new name. While it’s the same super fine grained salt you love, it’s now called Jolly Time regular popcorn salt and features a splashy orange wrapper. Although I couldn’t find it in any Publix stores, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to buy your favorite popcorn salt. All you have to do is visit any Publix you like, and find the grocery manager and ask him or her to activate Jolly Time popcorn salt and to bring it in as a special request. It should be in the store within a week. Give the UPC code: 7067000010. According to the Publix manager I spoke with, Jolly Time regular popcorn salt is priced at $1.99.

Q: As a breast cancer survivor, I like purchasing products that share proceeds with any organization helping other survivors. “It’s a 10” brand shares with Right Action for Women. They now have a product that I can’t seem to find in any of the stores. I’m looking for “It’s a 10” miracle whipped styling balm. It’s being advertised in several magazines. I’ve gone to the website, found the stores that carry the line, but not a single one has this new product. The website does not have a way to contact the company so I’m hoping you can help. Many thanks. — Renie S. Geller, Sandy Springs

A: Renie, I found your styling balm in a local store not far from you. Ulta, 4737 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody, 770-698-8337. It’s a 10 miracle whipped styling balm, in the purple can, is in stock and sells for $19.96.

Q: I’m looking for a candy that my fiance loved as a child. They’re cinnamon bears. He is from Libertyville, Illinois, and loved to ride his bike with a friend to go get some at the corner variety store. I’d love to surprise him with this candy and bring back happy memories for him. Thank you. And I love reading your column! — Cathy Harmon-Christian, Sandy Springs

A: Cathy, your guy will get to enjoy his red hot gummy bears in no time. Check out It’s Sugar, 264 19th St. NW, Atlanta, 404-815-1151. The Atlantic Station candy store not only sells huge 5-pound gummy bears — not cinnamon, unfortunately — but it stocks regular cinnamon bears for $6.48 for a half-pound. You can buy smaller or larger amounts, too.
