Q: I admit that I’ve really been harsh with my hair over the years, between coloring it and using hot styling tools. I need to find a product called Moxie, which is supposed to work great in repairing damaged hair. Help, please. Barb Martin, Atlanta

A: Original Moxie Emollience pretreatment is formulated with a thick texture that brings to mind honey without the sticky factor, and a fragrance combining cinnamon and spearmint. A blend of rich cupuacu butter and castor oil help to restore moisture and sheen to dry and damaged hair. Original Moxie Emollience is made without any artificial fragrance, petroleum or silicone. A three-ounce jar costs $18 at Sephora, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road, 678-731-9950.

Q: I lived in Germany for a while, and recently moved to Cherokee County. My favorite street food was a sandwich called doner kebab. The shaved meat was served with lots of vegetables, including shredded cabbage. Can you tell me if this is available in this part of Georgia? Thank you. H. Joseph, email

A: You’re in luck. Check out the popular Frankfurt Doner and Meats, 250 Gilmer Ferry Road, Ball Ground, 678-454-0784. This German deli and butcher shop turns out doner sandwiches, which are similar to Greek gyros, made by wrapping flat bread around shaved beef and assorted vegetables, and serving them with a garlicky cucumber yogurt sauce. You’ll also find an array of house-made fresh sausages, including bratwurst and kielbasa, and smoked knockwurst and andouille.

Q: Our entire family loves the organic frozen juice push pops that are found at Costco stores. They are made with apple juice blends, and have apple-cherry, apple-grape, and apple-strawberry flavors, but I don’t remember the brand name. Costco considers them a seasonal item and only carries them during the summer months. I would be happy to purchase these juice pops or something similar all year round. I’m sure I’m not the only one looking for these, as they seem to fly out of the freezer doors from Costco when they’re stocked. Thanks so much! Sue Swanson, email

A: Organic Whole Fruit frozen juice tubes are made with 90 percent juice and have 60 calories in each three-ounce serving. I found apple-cherry and apple-blueberry at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, 3101 Roswell Road, Marietta. Each box costs $2.98 a box.
