SOAP MADE SIMPLE

Madeline Tsai, creator of Atlanta-based One Leaf Soap, got into the soap making business when she discovered that handmade soaps did not exacerbate her eczema. One Leaf soaps are made in Tsai's kitchen with vegetable and plant oils and are scented with essential oils. The soaps offer rich lather and each one is a work of art featuring unique designs and colors such as soaps inspired by Legos, artist Piet Mondrian and peacock feathers (pictured). Most soaps cost about $8 for a 4-ounce bar. Get them at Gifted! Artist Market & Gift Boutique, 944 Canton St., Roswell. In addition, Tsai is a finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made competition. Visit www.marthastewart.com/americanmade beginning Sept. 21 to vote for Tsai and One Leaf Soap.
