Regional convention: The Be Courageous Jehovah's Witness regional convention will feature video presentations, songs, prayers and symposiums such as "Imitate, Not the Cowards, But the Courageous" and "How Our Brothers Are Showing Courage In…". The event will be held at the Georgia Convention Center (2000 Convention Center Concourse, Atlanta). Open to all. 9:20 a.m.-4:20 p.m. Sept. 1 and 9:20 a.m.-3:20 p.m. Sept. 2.

Anniversary celebration: As part of a month-long 47th anniversary celebration, the Act One Drama and Truth in Motion Dance ministries will perform during the 10 a.m. service. Additionally, a benefit concert led by Rickie Byars Beckwith, music and arts director of the Agape International Spiritual Center in California, will take place at 3 p.m. Free and open to all. Harp concert: The Georgia chapter of the American Harp Society will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a concert by harpists from various parts of the state coming together to perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Jacques Offenbach and more. Additionally, the Middle Georgia and Urban Youth Harp Ensembles will conduct a performance by Elisabeth Remy Johnson, principal harpist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
