Vacation Bible School: Sign up for a week of Vacation Bible School with the theme "Surf Shack — Catch the Wave of God's Amazing Love" from July 18-22 at Impact Church's Sylvan location. Coloring party: Bring your family and friends and meet new teens at Color Me Kickoff, a festival with games, color dye, and more from 3-5 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta. Consignment sale: The Born Again Blessings consignment sale will offer children's and maternity clothes, shoes, toys, furniture and more from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 12 and 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 13 at Riverstone Church. Midweek service: Enjoy encouraging messages, worship and special summer treats beginning at 7 p.m. every Wednesday throughout summer at Mount Paran Church. Of note: Recently, Covenant Presbyterian Church celebrated its 90th anniversary in its original Buckhead location at 2461 Peachtree Road N.E., Atlanta. Over the last several decades, the church established several academic and missionary related programs. Currently, Covenant hosts daily preschool, kindergarten and Mothers' Morning Out programs and supports local nonprofit organizations.
