Six Flags Over Georgia will honor those who protect and serve with their annual Military Appreciation Weekend this Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 20 and 21).

All active military members with a valid ID will receive free admission for themselves and up to three family members. All retired military members and veterans will receive a 50 percent discount off admission to the park with a valid ID, for an unlimited amount of tickets. (Active military members can also purchase additional tickets at 50 percent off) All admission tickets must be purchased at the park (military IDs must be presented at park to get free and discounted tickets).

“We are thrilled to be able to offer the men and women of the military, along with their families, a day to spend together as a small token of our appreciation for the sacrifices they make every day protecting our freedom. All of our employees truly enjoy Military Appreciation Weekend,” said Six Flags over Georgia spokesperson Gene Petriello in an e-mail.
