Duffie, a 2-year-old neutered Maine Coon mix, is a gorgeous, sweet tabby boy who enjoys affection. Duffie has beautiful long, extremely soft fur and will need frequent brushing and a good scratching post to keep his claws in top shape. Your veterinarian can show you how to trim the claws regularly to cut down on inappropriate scratching. And with his long fur, he does shed. Duffie is currently in our community cat room, and seems to get along with the other kitties pretty well. He’s an easygoing, laid-back kinda guy who enjoys perching up high, lying in patches of sunlight, and enjoying a good meal. We don’t know how he will be with children or other pets, so bring all human family members to meet him, and if you have existing pets, be prepared to introduce Duffie properly and slowly (we have a brochure that can help you). Duffie has been microchipped and dewormed. He will be available at 2 p.m. today at the Atlanta Humane Society Howell Mill Campus, 981 Howell Mill Road N.W. Sealed bids will be accepted starting at 10 a.m. if more than one party is interested. Please note that the highest bidder must meet adoption qualifications.
