"Wild Thing" by Atlanta artist Kathy Yancey was inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. A number of years back, she had a one-woman exhibit titled "Frida Kahlo, Goddess of Art." Frida Kahlo's images are all over Etsy and any shop that features Mexican art/imports. The Mexican painter died in 1954, but continues as an inspiration for many female artists. "Frida & Diego" concludes its successful run at the High Museum of Art on May 12.
