Brought to the United States as a child, Fredi Alcazar Dominguez goes to harrowing lengths to stay in Cobb County, the only home he’s ever truly known.

Fredi Alcazar Dominguez was arrested in May 2009 after having a car accident the night of his senior prom at Pebblebrook High School in Cobb County and deported. Illegally crossing back into the U.S. to return to his family he faces a double struggle for acceptance having been rejected for his immigration status and having been rejected for his sexuality.

The federal government has required him to routinely check in with ICE officials since he was arrested in 2012 for a traffic offense and discovered to be living in the U.S. illegally.
