Boots has brought home a spring snake, and placed it on a toy catnip mouse. Owner Beth Hardage calls this "the first snake of Spring."

Joe Bailey's cat Mr. Dood is not your average little hunter. This cat loves to chase and catch, but always lets his quarry go to live another day. A rough friendship, perhaps.

Joe Bailey says that Mr. Dood never injures the chipmunks, but does wear them out chasing and playing. "He is quite the hunter, but doesn't have a taste for wildlife, I guess."

Mr. Dood brings an assortment of critters around, but chipmunks are his favorite friends. Joe Bailey says the cat likes to carry them around like kittens, as seen here.

Joe Bailey calls Mr. Dood "a very entertaining and friendly soul." No confirmation was available from the chipmunks.

In any case, this snake appears to be an unenthusiastic playmate for Mr. Dood.

The famous Druid Hills turkey "Henry" gets corralled into Joe Bailey's front yard by Mr. Dood. Joe says that Mr. Dood never touched Henry, but kept the turkey penned for half and hour.
