A dog that was rescued in Orange County could soon have a home.
An Orange County resident spotted a dog roaming around the Central Florida Fairgrounds Wednesday and called Animal Services.
When Animal Services arrived, they found the dog, later nicknamed Gator, trapped in a muddy pond.
Gator was rescued with the help of two Orange County deputies.
Animal Services said someone has applied to adopt Gator.
