Dog lovers can add sunglasses to the list of fashion accessories they can purchase for their pampered pooches.
But these sunglasses, which are shaped like goggles, are not just about making a fashion statement, they are designed to protect a dog's eyes from UV rays. The glasses, called Rex Specs, also offer a dog protection from wind, bugs and flying debris while hiking or on other outdoor excursions.
The glasses can be used by any dog weighing between 30 to 100 pounds, but are optimized for working dogs. Creators Aiden Duane and Jesse Emil admit that dogs can take some time adjusting to the goggles, but with proper introduction and use, many dogs will adapt to the eyewear.
