The female stray cat is black, orange, and white, and started stopping by the department's Special Operations Unit headquarters in Roxbury a couple of years ago. Quickly named SWAT Cat, this feline won the hearts of all the officers.

SWAT Cat was spayed and microchipped; the officers really took care of her. They fed her and even crafted a heated shelter outside of their building for her to sleep in.

But it's been a couple of weeks since they've seen her, and the officer's are starting to worry about their furry friend. If you've seen a cat matching SWAT Cat's description in the Roxbury area near Warren Avenue, please let Boston police know.
