At just 9 weeks old, Jefferson the puppy was on the attack...

Mature, maternal Sweetie keeps an eye on the newly acquired M. E. (pronounced "Emmy"), who was abandoned on my sister's property at 9 weeks of age. Sweetie was a rescue from Dr. Good's Homeless Pets in Cobb County. M.E. was named in honor of Meredith Emerson (and also because her owner is a medical examiner).
