Homeward Bound and Yoga at Connie's sponsored the class, which featured six cats looking for homes.

The cats mingled adorably with the yoga students, joining the class in poses and performing some of their own moves.

Shelter workers said yoga and cats are “ideal companions,” and a yoga studio was a great way for the cats to get to interact with people outside the stress of the shelter.

One of the cats from the class has already been adopted, and more than $500 was raised for the shelter, according to The Dodo.

The animal shelter and yoga studio are hoping the idea will catch on nationwide.
