Fans will have a new place to cheer on the Braves come opening day

The “Back Porch,” sponsored by Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, will be ready on opening day for fans to socialize, eat and, of course, cheer on the Braves.

The new space is billed as a “laid-back patio.” The entire area is covered and can fit up to 150 people, making it a good spot for groups to gather on game day.

The Back Porch will also offer a variety of food and drink packages, which will be served when gates open an hour before gametime.

According to reporting from What Now Atlanta, the remodel of the space is expected to cost $997,443.

The patio, which is meant to feel like a southern porch, “will be accented with reclaimed wood, warm, rustic lighting, a variety of seating options,” the outlet reports.

Prices for the patio begin at $113 per person, according to the Braves’ website. It’s located under the main BravesVision board in center field.
