Calling all fans of the King: Little Five Points is throwing Elvis a birthday bash, as only they can do.

On Jan. 8, the day that would have been Elvis Presley’s 85th birthday, the Atlanta neighborhood will hold celebrations in his honor throughout the day.

The festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. with an Elvis impersonator on site to shop and take photos with fans.

There will be pizza with Elvis at Cameli’s (5:30 p.m.) and Savage (6:30 p.m.) in the neighborhood.

At 8 p.m. the fun will move to Little 5 Corner Tavern. There will be Elvis karaoke; peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwiches and birthday cake.

For those brave enough to perform a cover at karaoke, there will be Elvis sunglasses, while supplies last.

The event is sponsored by the Little Five Points Alliance, Little Five Points Business Association and Little 5 Points Halloween Festival and Parade.

And according to a Facebook post from the neighborhood group, Elvis is expected to be in the building. Well, sort of.
