Vocal powerhouse Ledisi and gospel star Kirk Franklin are teaming up for a 25-city tour that brings them to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on Nov. 19.

“The Rebel, The Soul & The Saint Tour” kicks off in Oakland on Oct. 25 and will also hit Nashville, Richmond, Va. and Los Angeles.

MAJOR will perform at the Atlanta show.


PJ Morton will open the tour in selected cities.

Fans can expect to hear songs from Franklin’s latest album “Losing My Religion” and Ledisi’s upcoming project “Let Love Rule.” Her new 15-track CD will be released on Sept. 22.

Ledisi said in a release that the tour “is non-traditional on purpose. The goal is to not alienate anyone, bringing all people together and to perform music that inspires and reflect the human experience.”

This tour will mark the first time that both award-winning artists have been on the road together.

Tickets are not yet on sale for the Atlanta show.
