Irrefutable proof that there's no reason to go OTP
If you have been in Atlanta long enough, you already know there is a canyon that runs right through the middle of our population; it divides coworkers, friends and even families. The loathing it elicits is as strong as when someone asks you how the weather is in "Hotlanta." It's a literal divide, a circular one to be exact. You either live inside the perimeter or you don't. The circumference of class, culture and sanity is otherwise known as I-285. If you're ITP, you might wonder why anyone in their right mind would leave the perimeter. In that spirit, we've compiled irrefutable proof that there is just no reason to venture OTP.

1. Parking comes too easy
Most places OTP have readily available parking. What is this world coming to? Here is the real clincher- most of it is free. It is a problem that is even propagated with MARTA. Stations inside the perimeter such as Five Points, Peachtree Center, Civic Center, North Avenue, Midtown, Arts Center- do they have free daily parking? No! Yet, every station outside of I-285 has free daily parking for up to 24 hours. Worse yet, at some of these stations MARTA allows people to park their cars at the station for multiple days on end for less than what it costs to park in the economy lot at the airport.
