Residents: Greg and Glenda Weaver and their children, Connor, 20, and Owen, 17, and Australian cattle dog, Diamond. Greg is a sales executive for SAP Americas.
Location: Roswell's Goulding neighborhood
Size: About 6,600 square feet, five bedrooms, five baths
Architectural style: Brick Colonial
Renovations: Recently, FrontDoor Communities updated the home, including the bathrooms, and added a kitchen and two-car garage. They sanded and stained the heart pine floors. The Weavers converted the original kitchen into a wine room.
Favorite architectural elements: Eight original fireplaces, plastered walls and three layers of brick. "The original fireplace and slanted hardwood floors heading to the master bathroom give it wonderful charm you wouldn't see in a newly constructed home," Glenda said.
Interior design style: Traditional
Favorite outdoor feature: The home was built on a knoll with the back porch facing west. Many people believe it sits at one of the highest points in the city, and there's amazing views of Roswell and the sunset, Glenda said.
