Mack Taylor, shown announcing the new expansion of Perimeter Center in 1982, passed away on Jan 5 at his home Buckhead, an area he helped develop. He was one of Atlanta's leading commercial real estate developers in the 1970s and '80s. Taylor, along with his late business partner Harvey Mathis, developed Buckhead Plaza at Peachtree and West Paces Ferry roads.
