The video captures all of the stereotypical characters that one can find at holiday family dinners, including the bored teenager, the drunk uncle and those who insist on wearing ugly Christmas sweaters in a non-ironic  fashion.

According to Mashable, mostly shelter animals were used in the video, with animal trainers and wranglers used to provide the human touch. The Humane Society of Utah helped with the video and Freshpet will cover the adoption fees for any of the shelter animals featured in the video that are adopted.

The filmmakers said it was challenging and chaotic to pull off the dinner stunt with so many animals in one room together, but that the animals were well-behaved and there were no fights.

The video has over generated over 650,000 views on YouTube.
