And now....for our rendition of Year in Stupid -- Celeb style. That's right, we love to watch them but sometimes, they really don't know what they're doing.

Country singer Chris Cagle was arrested for assault after a benefit concert. A female fan allegedly started verbally abusing Cagle, and Cagle allegedly punched her boyfriend. Cagle was touring to support his album "My Life's Been a Country Song."

"Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus was shot for Vanity Fair wearing a blanket and showing her bare back, leading to a wave of media hysteria over the "Miley Cyrus topless photos."

Sasha Baron Cohen ("Borat") caused a near-riot in Texarkana, Ark., filming his new movie, "Bruno." A crowd at the fairgrounds thought they were there to see a cage fighting match, but the two male wrestlers stripped to their underwear and rubbed and kissed each other. The angry mob pelted them with beer in cups.

Eliot Spitzer's favorite hooker, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, sued the "Girls Gone Wild" video company, saying she was 17 when she appeared in a video and too young to sign a contract. The company played a video in court of Dupre giving them a fake ID showing she was in her 20s and laughing when she gives them permission to film her for the videos.

CNN interviewer Larry King was told to cool it when he started protesting too vehemently at his son's Little League game. Eyewitnesses disagreed on exactly what happened, but there was plenty of hubbub between King and an umpire at the Beverly Hills sandlot. King, 74, was watching his son Chance, 9.

Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Begals legally changed his last name to OchoCinco, a rough Spanish version of his jersey number, 85. Johnson's children include Chad II, Chade and Cha'iel.

Rockers Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale named their son Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, easily winning the Stupid Celebrity Baby Name contest.

Paul McCartney's ex-wife, Heather Mills, sued her former PR manager. Her own PR person had said "Heather is a calculating, pathological liar and the biggest bitch on the planet."

Miss USA Crystle Stewart tripped and fell during the Miss Universe pageant, the second Miss USA to fall. The stupid part: NBC's "Today" show asked if there was a "conspiracy" at the pageant to make contestants trip.

Rapper Lil Jon started his own wine label, Little Jonathan Winery. In an interview with the Associated Press, Lil Jon offered his credentials: "I'm not no 'drink wine every day kind of dude.' I'm not like an expert, so don't ask me no questions. ... This is not some ghetto Boone's Farm. This is some real wine."

William Shatner wrote in his memoir, "Up Till Now," that "Star Trek" groupies just got to be too weird for him. They would shreik "So this is what it's like to be in bed with Capt. Kirk," he wrote. "You can't imgaine how much of a downer that is in every sense of the word."

Blustery TV talk show host and occasional psychologist Dr. Phil temporarily forgot the pesky old-fashioned idea of doctor-patient confidentiality when he visited Britney Spears in the hospital, then held a press conference saying she was in "dire need of both medical and psychological intervention."

BBC journalist Martin Bashir addressed the Asian-American Journalists Association banquet, saying, "I'm happy to be in the midst of so many Asian babes. In fact I'm happy the podium covers me from the waist down."

R&B star R. Kelly was acquitted of videotaping himself having sex with a 13-year-old girl. He appeared soon after on BET and was asked about his widely discussed preference for teenage girls. He replied: "When you say teenage, how old are we talking?"
