The 10 most potentially dangerous toys of 2016

By Staff Writer
Dec 1, 2016

Each year since 1973, the World Against Toys Causing Harm Inc., a consumer safety organization, releases its "10 Worst Toys" list to warn parents of the potentially hazardous toys on store shelves.

Members examine toys with inconsistent warnings and age recommendations, safety design and manufacturing and more when coming up with the list.

As you gear up to complete your holiday shopping, you may want to keep this list in mind.

Here are the "10 Worst Toys" for 2016, according to the organization:

1. Peppa Pig's Muddy Puddles Family

2. Kids Time Baby Children's Elephant Pillow

3. Slimeball Slinger

4. Banzai Bump N' Bounce Body Bumpers

5. Nerf Rival Apollo XV-700 Blaster
