Cupcakes that stare back at you. Sandwiches cut in the shape of bats. Carrots that look like fingers. These are among the (edible) Halloween treats in this holiday photo gallery. It may give you ideas for your own Halloween party food.

Trick or treat! Here's a tasty collection of Halloween cupcakes baked, decorated and styled by Deborah Geering.

Who you looking at? This one is appropriately called the Icky Eyeball. But if you can get past the stare of the candy eye, it's really not that icky.

Who could resist these little ghosts? To make these Ghostcakes, you can devise the ghosts by dipping Nutter Butter cookies in white chocolate. Or you can use Peeps marshmallow ghost candies.

These confections look like they might bite back. They're called Spooky Spider Cupcakes.

The Best Rest Cupcakes: Or you might call these Gravestone Cupcakes. For the gravestones, choose cookies with a rectangular or oval shape, such as Murray Coconut Bars or Pepperidge Farm Milanos.

You could call this collection Four Eyes, if you're brave enough.

Spiders were bad enough. How about serving cupcakes with bugs and rats on them? Don't worry. It's plastic. The bugs, we mean.

What's scarier than Halloween? How about the economy? Financial Ruin Cupcakes.

Ghosts and cats and bats in a sandwich. Those cookie cutters can cut more than dough. Stack thick-cut slices of bologna and cheese and then cut into shapes. Or put the stacks between two slices of white bread and cut --- for that ghostly look. Use cheese, mustard and ketchup to add faces.

Ghosts rule this sweet graveyard. Chocolate pudding mix is the foundation for this Kraft recipe. Cookies and whipped topping form the tombstones and ghosts. Add candy for "eyes."

Here are some Halloween "eyeball" treats created by east Cobb resident J.J. Griffin. The sweet little confections are made with white chocolate and peanut butter . The green part of the eyes is food coloring. Or is it? BREW-ha-ha-ha!

This one looks friendly enough to eat. But should you trust a cake that smiles back at you? Halloween cupcakes are so easy to dress up. Candy corn and round candy-coated chocolate make the eyes, noses and mouths. Thin licorice or icing pens can also make the mouth.

As you can see, this is Bloody Eyeball Pudding. Vanilla pudding works for this. The eyes are marshmallows and black M&Ms. red melba sauce gives it the blood-shot effect. (Styling by Meridith Ford)
