Just a hunch, but Republican vice-presidential nominee Gov. Sarah Palin will likely be a popular costume this year. Popular enough that the Associated Press has already written an article on how to pull it off. Here, Eryn Bentley, a married mother of three from Sharpsburg, models her costume.

Bentley brought props. She played on the "Saturday Night Live"-like parody by bringing a small baby, toy rifle and flag. But in many cases, the right hair and glasses are going to do the trick. Other ideas: lipstick and a hockey stick.

These binoculars, which Bentley says help her character "to see Russia" are a good touch.

The costume wasn't very difficult. Any "business-y" type jacket, paired with slacks or skirt will work, she said. Lots of accessories, such as an American flag lapel pin or small flag to wave.

And, of course, the glasses. They can be purchased in the pharmacy section of grocery or big-box stores, so you won't have to spend too much. Figure about $10. "Don't forget the classic hair twist and lipstick,"said Bentley.

Bentley spent about $20 total, as she found most props around her house and has the long brown hair to pull off the Palin bun and bangs.
