But Friday was a whole different kind of day - a snow day.

The zoo’s three polar bears - Kalluk, Tatqiq and Chinook - woke up to 26 tons of snow to play in.

A zookeeper said there were treats hidden in the snow to make it even more stimulating for the bears.

Public donations paid for the snow day.
