It was part of an event that combines elements from Halloween, Mexico's Day of the Dead celebration, and the spiritual magic of the Low Country Gullah. A bike-decorating contest, a "Mask-Parade" between Lillian Webb Park and Thrasher Park was scheduled for later in the day. BOOfest events continue through Halloween.
