Hosting a Halloween party? Then you need some music. Not all these songs are as scary as MJ's "Thriller," but they will stir up memories of tricks and treats.

If you believe in ghosts and goblins, this HorrorPops song is for you: "Ghouls, they keep me company/It's like I'm the wife of Halloween."

Those lyrics aren't as scary as the "ominous instrumental motif" associated with Michael Myers. Couple that with the hockey mask, and your guests have nightmares for weeks.

Or as fun as "The Rocky Horror Picture Show's" Time Warp. That's a jump to the left and then a step to the ri-i-i-eee-i-i-ight.

Norman Bates' mother would recommend you add the "strings-slashing" theme from "Psycho" to your mix tape.

While she's definitely not scary, playing Rihanna's "Disturbia" at your haunted meet will spook up the mix.

Having made a deal for eternal youth with Satan, of course the Rolling Stones would have 'Sympathy for the Devil.'

"The Addams Family" theme might not get their feet moving, but it definitely will get their fingers snapping to the beat. Just look out for Thing.

David Bowie's "Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)" says it all and is appropriate if you anticipate having handy drunks at your party.

Everything about Marilyn Manson is scary, including his cover of "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)."

"Hells Bells" by AC/DC will "give you black sensations up and down your spine." Hopefully, those heeby jeebys won't make your guests run screaming out the front door.

"Women seem wicked when you're unwanted," Jim Morrison croons on the Doors' "People Are Strange." Probably never more so than on Halloween.

If you want the late Fluffy or Fido to attend the party, too, we recommend "Pet Semetary," the Ramones song and the place that resurrects dead pets.

Let your guests leave with haunting thoughts by playing Alice Cooper's "Welcome to My Nightmare."
