Highest-paid actors on TV

Forbes' list of 11 rich-and-famous television stars is dominated by men in comedy roles.

Forbes has put together a list of the highest-paid actors on television. Ashton Kutcher tops the Forbes list at $24 million. Not bad for just one of "Two and a Half Men" on CBS. Forbes says Kutcher also is an active Silicon Valley investor. He got in early on Skype, Spotify and Airbnb, which is now worth $1 billion, Forbes says.

Hugh Laurie made $18 million, Forbes says, and his long-running Fox drama "House" finished after its eighth season in April.

Ray Romano made $18 million between May 2011 and May 2012, Forbes said, but pointed out that Romano's return TV was short-lived. TNT closed down "Men of a Certain Age" earlier this year. While he hasn't found success with his newer shows, Forbes said, Romano is still making plenty with syndication of classic "Everybody Loves Raymond," and also takes home a hefty paycheck for voicing the wooly mammoth "Manny" in the animated movie series "Ice Age."

Alec Baldwin made $15 million according to the Forbes.com list. He plays TV exec Jack Donaghy on NBC's comedy "30 Rock," now in its final season.

Mark Harmon also brought in $15 million. After nine seasons on CBS, Forbes reported, "NCIS" is still one of the highest-rated shows on television, drawing an average 19.7 million viewers per episode.

Tim Allen made $14 million as he returned to TV last year with the ABC sitcom "Last Man Standing," Forbes said, and the show did well enough for a second season.

Jon Cryer made $13 million as a co-star with Ashton Kutcher on "Two and Half Men."

Patrick Dempsey earned $12 million on "Grey's Anatomy," Forbes said.

Jim Parsons made $8 million, Forbes said, because "The Big Bang Theory" is one of the most successful shows on TV, attracting 15 million viewers per episode.

Johnny Galecki also made $8 million from "The Big Bang Theory."

Jason Segel earned $8 million. He stars on "How I Met Your Mother," but Forbes said Segel makes plenty on his film work. Segel wrote, produced and starred in the recent "The Muppets," which earned $160 million at the global box office. He also wrote and starred in the romantic comedy "The Five-Year Engagement."
