Joining the "Lion Killer Dentist" and Caitlyn Jenner costume, a new controversial costume has made it to the list of this year list of Halloween dress-ups: Ahmed Mohamed, the 'clock bomb boy.'

The get-up includes a NASA t-shirt, glasses, aluminum case with clock 'interworkings' and handcuffs.

The costume, displayed on constumeish.com, includes a description:

"When is a clock more than just a clock? That all depends on who you ask. The day a 14 year old "invented" a clock and brought it to school a national scandal was born. The Halloween clock boy meme costume comes complete with a small case, LCD screen, PC board, glasses, a NASA shirt and fake costume handcuffs. Just be careful who you show it to!"

The $80 costume was inspired by the 14-year-old boy that was arrested after he brought a clock he re-assembled to his school and teachers mistook it for a bomb.

The arrest prompted outrage when people said it was based on racism and that he was treated differently because he is Muslim.

In the end though, the scandal turned face when Mohamed garnered praise from big names like Mark Zuckerberg, Hillary Clinton and President Obama.

The teen was also invited to the White House, MIT and Google for visits.

Reaction to the contentious costume has been mixed, from offense to humor.
