Chris Tucker plays Santa

Comedian and actor Chris Tucker played Santa at an event for underprivileged children in suburban Atlanta where the 'Rush Hour' star grew up. The gift-giving in DeKalb County was sponsored by the Chris Tucker Foundation.

Chris Tucker, a Columbia High School graduate who rose to stardom in the 'Rush Hour' movies with Jackie Chan, donned a Santa hat as he met with the children. This was the fifth Christmas even sponsored by the Chris Tucker Foundation.

'Santa' Chris poses with Marquavius Turnipseed, 10, before the gifts are handed out. Tucker said in a press release, "I am excited to come home and make a difference in the lives of our youth. There's nothing more important during this holiday season than giving to those in need and making a positive impact in someone's life."

Chris Tucker's quick dance draws a chuckle from Thomas McCants, executive director of the NFL/Youth Education Town Boys & Girls Club, where more than 200 children gathered for the event.

Dominique Satterwhite, 10, of College Park, gives a hug to Chris Tucker before receiving a gift at the event. Dominique later said, "I'm a pretty extreme fan. I'm so happy to finally meet him." He said he has all of Tucker's movies. He received an autograph from Tucker.
