A boy deemed a medical miracle had a special meeting with Santa.

Jaxon Buell was born in 2014 and has been diagnosed with microhydranencephaly, a rare disorder that affects the brain. In Jaxon’s case, he was born with only a partial brain and skull.

There is no cure for the condition, and doctors did not expect the baby to live long, but Jaxon surprised everyone by celebrating his first birthday in August.

Now the child who has captured the heart of the world has completed another milestone: meeting Santa.

Brittany Buell, Jaxon’s mother, posted several photos on the family’s Jaxon Strong Facebook page from the boy’s meeting with Santa.

The photos have received over 47,000 likes on Facebook.

His father, Brandon Buell, posted a Facebook message from Jaxon and the entire family to all of those who have supported him.
