A Florida high school student wants to make sure no one at his school ever has to eat lunch alone.
Senior Denis Estimon remembers what it’s like to have no friends after he moved to the United States from Haiti when he was in the first grade. Now, he’s a popular upperclassman at his high school in Boca Raton.
Denis and his friends started a club called We Dine Together to help students build new friendships and to make sure everyone has a lunch partner.
“No kid should eat alone,” Estimon told a local newspaper.
“There are so many problems in this world and the only thing that can solve it is relationships.”
