Here’s to the foodie in you: Taste of Johns Creek set for Aug. 19

The Taste of Johns Creek is returning for the fifth year to satisfy the foodie in everyone.

The annual event will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 19 at Chattahoochee High School, 5230 Taylor Rd.

More than 20 restaurants will be featured, offering everything from desserts to Mediterranean food and barbecue.

There will also be an art walk, shopping,  music, local entertainment, youth activities and a puppet show featuring Peter Hart, master puppeteer.

Proceeds benefit the Chattahoochee High School Booster Clubs. The event is free with food samples costing between $1 and $4 each. Tickets must be purchased for the food and kids zone.
