Trailblazing journalist Gwen Ifill will be remembered forever.

At a ceremony on Thursday, the United States Postal Service officially unveiled the Forever stamp in Ifill’s honor.

USPS announced last fall that Ifill, who died in 2016 due to complications from cancer, would be honored with the stamp. Now, it’s officially available.

Ifill’s stamp includes her name, photo and the words “Black Heritage” across the top. It’s the 43rd stamp in USPS’ “Black Heritage” series.

At the ceremony in Washington, D.C., Ifill’s former colleagues and city officials gathered to remember her, including D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser.
