The distillers who make Prairie Organic Spirits — a vodka, cucumber vodka and a gin — are also Minnesotan farmers who cultivate the organic non-GMO corn that goes into each of the spirits, all of which are certified organic. The vodka, which won a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, will fill your nose with notes of melon and pear and your palate with a creamy warmth and a bright, clean finish.

Try it in this boozy twist on eggnog. Although spiked eggnog typically features rum or brandy (or both), the vodka in this case is a clear alternative that will leave you ready to pour more.

Classic Prairie Eggnog

1 oz. Prairie Organic Vodka

1 oz. Eggnog

1 oz. Trader Vic’s Amaretto Liqueur

1 Cinnamon Stick

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick.
