I had the most refreshing and delicious cocktail, a Sakura Smash, at District M and would like to make it at home. Can you please get the recipe? — Jamila Jones, Stone Mountain

District M's assistant bar manager Alfonsina Olivera created the Sakura Smash to celebrate spring and the arrival of cherry blossom season. ("Sakura" is the name for the blossom of the Japanese cherry tree.) Strawberries are the perfect fruit to reproduce the pale pink color of the blossoms. The berries marry deliciously with basil and lemon in this vodka cocktail.
