Flashback photos: 75 years ago in wartime Georgia, 1943

World War II was raging in Europe, and back home, the war effort was a part of daily life for Georgians, too. Take a look back at a few photos that capture those days, 75 years ago in Georgia.

In 1943, actor Tyrone Edmund Power, Jr. enlisted in the U.S. Marines. Power attended the Flight Instructor Instrument School at NAS, Atlanta in 1944.
