Avid runners, rejoice! Pink Barre has announced a new class at it's Virginia Highland location this weekend to help athletes stretch, tuck, and tone their way to a better run.

Led by local instructor Amanda Kowaleski, this special Barre for Runners class is ideal for anyone training for a marathon. It's a 55-minute session dedicated to teaching attendees how to properly stretch and strengthen the muscles needed for those long treks.

If you're interested in improving your stride, come out Sunday, July 17 at 1:30 p.m. The class is free, but the gym is accepting donations for its American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals campaign.

Pink Barre at Virginia Highland is located at 996 Virgina Ave. NE. Visit the website to register online.
