McDaniel Marchers at McDaniel Farm Park

Imagine strolling through beautiful McDaniel Farm Park with new friends and great conversation. The McDaniel Marchers meet on the third Wednesday and Saturday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and welcome anyone interested in walking together around the 1930's preservation farm. There is a yearly due of $5 per person which includes a celebratory milestone event at the end of the year.

Enjoy all the amenities at the Cobb Senior Wellness Center while getting fit with new friends by joining the New Life Walkers Club. They meet for an hour of walking on the first Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Marietta.
North Cobb Hiking Club at the North Cobb Senior Center

This group of mostly retired walkers and hikers meet once per week to enjoy all the beautiful trails around North Georgia. Hikes range from 4 to 6 miles and take place within 25 miles of the Cobb Senior Center in Acworth. For new hikers, the North Cobb Hiking Club recommends bringing a hiking pole or two, wearing hiking shoes, bringing water and packing a couple energy bars in case you get hungry along the way.
