Pessoa says Atlanta style is "a little bit of everything. No matter what your style is you can somehow fit in. Atlanta is the New York of the South. It's a melting pot." Pictured is Pessoa's beaded necklace from Macy's.

BEST FIND: "I got the cutest shoes at a little boutique in the Highlands, for $15. They look a lot more expensive. They are open toe wedge heels in a striped pattern of green, orange and brown with a little rosette on the side.

FASHION PET PEEVE: "Too small shoes. If your foot is hanging over or hanging off the back, just get another pair of shoes."

A WEAKNESS: "I'm into big purses now. I gotta have a big bag and I just keep filling them with junk." Pessoa also likes clutches embellished with beads and sequins. Pictured is Pessoa's beaded clutch which was a gift from her mother.

STAND-OUT FASHION MOMENT: "I would have to say when I did a local CoverGirl event (Pessoa was recently featured in advertisements for the CoverGirl Queen Collection). I was trying to come up with an outfit that was fun. It was a short-sleeve canary yellow jacket and skinny leg dark blue jeans and rhinestone sandals in hues of yellow and copper. Everyone kept asking, 'Who is your stylist?' I was like, 'Chile, if you only knew.'" Pictured is Pessoa's yellow quartz ring.

FAVORITE STORES: Filene's Basement, Stein Mart. "I love H&M in New York. Hopefully when I check out the one in Atlanta I will be as happy with it." FAVORITE LABELS: Coach. Pictured are Pessoa's jeweled shoes that she found at a Burlington Coat Factory in San Antonio, TX.

BIGGEST SPLURGE: Jewelry. "I don't do a lot of pieces but I like that one really nice signature piece. My biggest splurge would have to be a diamond watch, it set me back a little, but man is it nice." Pictured are Pessoa's vintage turquoise jewelry pieces and a bracelet from Honolulu which was a gift from her mother.
